The Small Volume Parenteral (SVP) Department is available to aseptically fill clinical or commercial liquid or lyophilized pharmaceutical products in vials from 2mL through 200mL. Typical batch sizes are from 40 liters to 3,000 liters. The department is state-of-the-art, encompassing 10,248 ft². The Class 100 fill room has a full HEPA filter ceiling and a solid Plexiglas barrier surrounding the filling line. The filling process is integrated from vial depyrogenation/sterilization through filling, lyophilization, and sealing. Additional processes include inspection, labeling, Ink Jet coding, and custom packaging.
